Battery Warranty Policy

This Battery Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage provided by Meuse Electronics for batteries sold through our stores and website.

By purchasing a battery from Meuse Electronics, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Warranty Policy.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use within the applicable warranty period.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection, testing, and verification by Meuse Electronics or its authorized representatives.

Warranty periods vary by product and are listed in the Battery Warranty Schedule below.

2. ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS

This warranty applies only to batteries:

• Purchased directly from Meuse Electronics; or
• Purchased from an authorized Meuse Electronics distributor, reseller, or dealer.

Batteries purchased through unauthorized sellers, third-party marketplaces without authorization, liquidation sales, auctions, salvage operations, or other unapproved channels are not eligible for warranty coverage.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the battery unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Meuse Electronics reserves the right to request proof of purchase or other information necessary to verify that a battery was obtained through an authorized sales channel.

3. TURBOVOLT LITHIUM BATTERY WARRANTY

TurboVolt Lithium Batteries are covered by a 3-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase.

If a TurboVolt battery experiences a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, Meuse Electronics reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• Repair the battery;
• Replace the battery with an equivalent battery; or
• Provide another appropriate remedy permitted under this warranty.

All batteries submitted for warranty service must first undergo inspection and testing to determine the cause of the fault.

If testing determines that the fault resulted from a manufacturing defect, the warranty claim will be approved.

If testing determines that the fault resulted from misuse, abuse, improper installation, external damage, vehicle faults, unauthorized modifications, or any other excluded cause, the warranty claim will be denied.

4. WARRANTY PERIOD FOR REPLACEMENT BATTERIES

Any battery repaired or replaced under warranty shall continue under the remaining balance of the original warranty period.

The warranty period does not restart or extend upon repair or replacement.

Example:

If a TurboVolt battery is purchased on 1 January 2026 and replaced under warranty on 1 January 2028, the replacement battery remains covered only until 31 December 2028.

5. WARRANTY CLAIM REQUIREMENTS

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide sufficient information to verify the original purchase.

Verification may be completed using:

• Customer name;
• Phone number;
• Email address;
• Order records;
• Invoice records; or
• Other purchase information available in Meuse Electronics’ records.

Meuse Electronics reserves the right to request additional information where necessary to verify warranty eligibility.

6. WARRANTY ASSESSMENT

Warranty assessments are normally completed within fourteen (14) days from the date the battery is received for inspection.

Additional time may be required in complex cases or where further testing is necessary.

Customers will be informed of the outcome once testing is completed.

7. CUSTOMER TRANSPORTATION RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for all transportation, shipping, delivery, collection, handling, and associated costs relating to warranty claims.

This applies whether the warranty claim is approved or denied.

Customers are responsible for ensuring batteries are safely packaged and transported for inspection.

8. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

• Physical damage;
• Cracked or broken casings;
• Impact damage;
• Fire damage;
• Water ingress or flooding;
• Corrosion caused by external conditions;
• Abuse, misuse, or negligence;
• Improper storage;
• Improper installation;
• Improper charging practices;
• Overcharging or deep discharge outside product specifications;
• Use outside intended applications;
• Accidents;
• Theft;
• Natural disasters or acts of God;
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect battery performance.

9. VEHICLE AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAULTS

This warranty does not cover battery failures caused by faults within the vehicle or equipment in which the battery is installed.

Examples include:

• Faulty alternators;
• Faulty voltage regulators;
• Wiring defects;
• Electrical shorts;
• Parasitic battery drains;
• Charging system faults;
• Improperly configured charging equipment; or
• Any other external electrical fault.

Customers may be required to have the vehicle or equipment inspected to determine whether a battery fault originated from the battery itself or from the connected electrical system.

10. UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS OR MODIFICATIONS

This warranty becomes void if the battery has been:

• Opened;
• Modified;
• Disassembled;
• Repaired by unauthorized persons;
• Altered in any manner not approved by the manufacturer or Meuse Electronics.

11. COMMERCIAL AND PRIVATE USE

Unless otherwise specified for a particular product, warranty coverage applies equally to private, commercial, fleet, ride-hailing, and business use.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

This warranty is limited solely to the repair, replacement, or remedy of the battery as determined by Meuse Electronics.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meuse Electronics shall not be liable for:

• Vehicle recovery costs;
• Towing expenses;
• Transportation costs;
• Loss of income;
• Loss of business;
• Loss of profits;
• Loss of use;
• Accommodation expenses;
• Rental vehicle costs; or
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from battery failure.
